How Red Earth Restaurant Pty Ltd collects, uses and protects the personal details of guests, enquirers and website visitors.

Privacy Policy

Red Earth Restaurant Pty Ltd · SkyCity Adelaide, 125 North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000

1. What we collect

We collect the details needed to run a restaurant: names, phone numbers and email addresses for reservations and enquiries; dietary requirements and accessibility notes attached to bookings; payment details processed through PCI-compliant terminals (we never store card numbers ourselves); and website usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools described in our cookie policy.

2. How we use it

Booking details are used to seat you, feed you safely and contact you about your reservation. Contact form submissions are used solely to answer your enquiry. Marketing emails are sent only where you have actively subscribed, and every message carries a working unsubscribe link. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

3. Who sees your data

Reservation data lives in our booking system and the SkyCity guest services platform where a reservation touches hotel or casino services. Payment processing runs through our bank's gateway. Analytics data is aggregated and de-identified before we see it. Staff access is limited to people who need it for service, and all staff sign confidentiality undertakings.

4. Retention

Reservation records are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax and licensing obligations. Enquiry emails are kept for two years. Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw them. CCTV inside the venue is retained per SkyCity security policy and licensing requirements.

5. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the law allows. Requests go to our privacy contact via [email protected] and are answered within 30 days. If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

6. Changes to this policy

We review this policy annually and after any material change to how we handle data. The current version is always published on this page with its review date. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Data we never ask for

We will never ask for your card PIN, passwords, or copies of identity documents by email or phone. Any request like that is not from us — report it to the team immediately.

This policy operates alongside the Legal & GDPR notice for international guests.
